Alex Guajardo has worked across the spectrum in the art world, holding positions at Chicago’s National Museum of Mexican Art in both their Public Relations and Development department and in their Visual Arts Curatorial department, at 501(c)3-status Art Works Projects where she conceptualized and curated a photographic exhibition to highlight the human rights crisis in Burma (Myanmar), with art fair production company, ArtMRKT, in their publicity and communications department, and with other prestigious Chicago and New York galleries.

Pairing her creativity with her extensive art historical background, her curatorial sensibilities with collections management experience, Alex works continually to keep abreast of art world trends and innovations to maintain her art consultancy practice to the highest degree. Alex specializes in collectors of all kinds, from those first beginning their collecting journey to those with established tastes and interests, and anyone along the way. Additionally, Alex speaks both Italian and Spanish fluently.

Alex Guajardo is a New York-based consultant and art historian specializing in Contemporary art. She earned her MA in Contemporary Art from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art, New York, and her BA in Art History and Italian from Middlebury College and the University of Illinois, Chicago.
