bG gallery presents a new body of work by Texan artist Taft McWhorter. For this new series the artist sought to create a spark for viewers to pursue their passions. Utilizing verbiage from song, quotes and personal mantras, McWhorter creates a unique interplay of text and abstract expressionism.
McWhorter embraces the dichotomy of vision versus freedom; control versus chaos. In the spirit of freedom and chaos, he is able to employ a plethora of textures, color and mediums.
