Bio
Ralph Allen Massey has been practicing art for over fifty years and has exhibited his work all around the country. Combining popular imagery of sculpture, figures and paintings in an original composition, Massey manipulates and redefines these familiar icons. Juxtaposing extremely high and fine art with more kitsch and playful pieces breathes new life into these well-known works of art. He paints the figures as though they are placed within a stylized container, giving it the appearance of a collection of the unattainable.
