Christopher Mudgett is an artist based in Los Angeles where he currently lives and works.
Early in his career Mudgett’s works were characterized by the use of a rich color palette. Recently he has moved to more introspective monochromatic renderings.
A stylistic descendent of the cubist movement, Christopher adds a nostalgic, reflective fingerprint to the genre. Rendering his subjects with a single, continuous line, Christopher uses the fluidity of shapes to explore the genuine naïveté of his subjects.
In what seems like an effortless twisting of line and with very few colors Mudgett manages to convey the thrill of danger and the grandeur of the limitless possibilities existent in life.
