Art is a living, breathing thing; artists plant its seeds, and the viewers cultivate its growth. Painting Forest in the Endless Horizon is an exhibition of freestanding artworks that collectively form a veritable forest of art within the gallery’s walls. Artworks are both figuratively and physically “off the wall,” and seemingly sprouting through the gallery floor. Pieces will vary in size and shape producing an illusion of organic growth. Viewers can move freely through the labyrinth the artworks create, becoming, themselves, an intrinsic element of the aesthetic forest.

Ronen Pollak and Allan Peach, conceived of an exhibition that is both a curatorial exercise and installation. Painting Forest in the Endless Horizon brings together artists’ works from a wide variety of genres and mediums, united by their dedication to craft. The show will run from mid-August until early September.

Gestalt Projects is located at bG Gallery in Bergamot Station A2. bG specializes in artists who blur the boundaries between traditionally divided creative approaches in their work with particular emphasis on bridging “insider” and “outsider”,’ and “highbrow” and “lowbrow”.
