Winner of Pollock/Krasner Foundation Grant will be painting in the Artic Circle!

James Scarborough interviews Eubank in The Huffington Post.

When Danielle Eubank came to pick up the paintings she had shown in bG Bergamot’s show “Spectrum Gestalt” she had just gotten the news that she’d become a Pollock/Krasner Foundation Grant recipient. Actually, it was her husband who told me. Danielle, apparently, was still too dazed by the news to mention it herself.

Danielle got more exciting news recently – she’ll be traveling to the Arctic Circle with a group of scientists to paint. I asked her how paint behaves in sub-zero temperatures and learned she’s doing research on the subject now. Danielle may be on the vanguard of a new movement in art: Extreme Plein Air Painting!

bG Gallery is pleased to be showing Danielle’s work at Bergamot Station, where she currently has two paintings in the Masters of Illusion exhibit. The paintings will be on view until the first week of September and I encourage you to come see her work and the work of the other extraordinary artists bG has gathered for the show.
